Important Messages Regarding - Microsoft Vista

The newest IMC Software 4.6 Build 9, to be released late October, will support Windows Vista 32 bit (Ultimate or Business editions) for IMC Client, provided a Network Interface Card configured for TCPIP is installed in every Vista workstation.

Vista Home Premium or Basic - IMC will not support these versions. While Premium has some networking capabilities, we do not recommend this version due to the lack of "enhanced" networking capabilities.

Here are a list of issues and suggestions:

Vista Ultimate / Business  

• You must disable Interactive Services- UI0Detect
• You must disable User Account Control (UAC)
  Click Start, type msconfig.  Click Tools, select Disable UAC, click Launch
  
  
  
• Run gpEdit.msc
  Browse to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options
  
  In the right pane scroll to User Account Control
         Change to Disabled as illustrated below:
  
  

ALL OF THE ABOVE REQUIRE A REBOOT

• If you upgrade from XP to Vista you must do the above plus
              -Uninstall and reload Pervasive and the IMC Client
